Artillery Battery Fire

call the grid over voice channels

if the target doesn't know he's being eyeballed by an artillery battery, they are more likely to sit still, which makes them an easier target.

if you want continuous fire, that's what the fire at will is for, everyone uses the same target, but fires when they are ready. good for when the target is crossing open ground

group firing is good for when the target goes back and fourth behind cover, so everyone gets a shot it

Welcome, it is good to have you here.

We are always looking for new ways to improve our clan war strategy and use of Russian heavy's is not ruled out. However, everyone obtaining a Panther is a requirment as we will have 2 battles a night and if someone's Panther is destroyed, they can't use it in the 2nd battle. So it is essential someone else will be able to fill that role. Also, if they maintain the same "points" structure as they currently have for the Russian Comps, we will not be using any tanks above level 8, that would preculed the 4502, Maus as well as the IS-4 and 7. Me and Durty did the math and getting one of those tanks would mean you lose a level 8 tank and IMO it just doesn't seem work it.

But, it is good to have you and look forward to the future battles.

Tactics Supreme

Actually, on the bridge map, we started on the South side, did a huge end around to get to the North side, that is where the Panther's speed comes in, and flanked you all based off of what info our scout provided you. That was me, estapler and Verret. THAT was a good time. Nothing better than to start lobbing shells into the sides of tanks

Tank Reviews

Tiger - A good tank, it will seem to be pretty slow at first but you will get used to it. The 8.8mm L/71 cannon on it will hurt just about anything you shoot it at, allthough it will have a dificult time penetrating some of the heavier tanks such as the Maus/VK4502/IS4. It also has good Armor and can with stand a lot of punishment. The repair costs which average around 11k a round, and usually about 4k of ammo make it somewhat more difficult to make money with than with some other tanks, but unless I have a really bad round I make a decent profit almost every round.

Tiger II - An improvement over the Tiger in almost all ways. While its side and rear armor arent any stronger than the Tiger the front armor gains an addittional 50mm of protection, making it important to keep your front armor facing the incomming fire. The 10.5mm L/68 is a very powerfull gun and you will notice yourself one shotting other tanks alot more. This gun penetrates just about everything, I have even gotten some shots through the Maus' front armor. The repair costs are just about the same as with the tiger, perhaps 1-2k more, the Ammo however is about 1k per shot so that get expensive very quickly. A great tank IMO

Panther - I think I am starting to like it, though I did not really at first. My first impression of it was a tank, that was weaker than the Tiger, that was not that much more maneuverable. It bleeds of alot of speed on the turns it seems, more so than usual... That being said, during last nights battles in which we actually attempted to use tactics the panther really seemed to accel. It is good when you have a whole group that is fairly mobile and can all rush in and attack the flanks of a much heavier target and take it out. Weaponry wise, it uses the same cannon as the Tiger 1. The repair costs on this are high usually about 15k...Overall, IMO not as good as the Tiger when running solo, Very good in combination with other panthers.

Churchill - Terrible, awful, horrid tank...Very Very good money maker though, you can go into a battle, do almost nothing, lose that battle and still make a nice profit...
